Daario Naharis and Grey Worm -Season 5

If you felt bad for Daario after Daenerys ended their romance and left him behind in Meereen, this deleted scene from the second episode of season five might just change your mind. Following up on the hints of romance shown in the earlier deleted scene between Grey Worm and Missandei, the Unsullied commander confirms his feelings for the girl from Naath when Daario begins to tease him about her. Not knowing when he’s taken a joke too far, Daario pokes fun at Grey Worm for being a eunuch—suggesting that the Unsullied won’t be able to sexually satisfy Missandei, and even offering to “stand in” for him if the need arises.

Having a lower tolerance for humor than most, Grey Worm doesn’t take this well, turning to confront Daario—who backpedals fiercely when he senses the Unsullied spears aimed at his back. It’s a great bit of character development that should have been left in the show; it proves the depth of Grey Worm’s feelings for Missandei, and showcases Daario’s chauvinistic and immature side—proving Dany was right to leave him.
